Letting Go

I saw him walked away from me. Just like the old times. But this time it was different. I didn’t feel any pain. Even if I knew he would go back to those who mattered to him more. Even if I knew we would never, ever be together like the way I wanted to.

I have fully accepted that truth a long time ago.
